Ed Sheeran hopes his fans enjoy seeing him in “various states of hangover” if they watch his new concert movie.
Jumpers for Goalposts follows the British singer because he played for 80,000 people at London’s Wembley Arena in July 2015, featuring footage of him on stage in addition to the intense preparations beforehand. Ed needed to give a bird’s eye look at his life by showing the amount goes into a real set, and that he was also pleased to be interviewed about his career currently.
“Wembley kept springing up in conversation and I just thought, ‘I need to go for it, to get up there with all the current other acts that contain played there,'” he told Popsugar Australia. “I was very nervous the very first night but fine after I got the very first song done… (Fans will) verify a bit more of everyone around my teams, who worked over-time to make it happen too. The movie’s premiere can take place in London’s Leicester Square on October 22, using the event beamed to cinemas globally while doing so. The star is excited to discover what his fans consider the feature, anf the husband also gave some insight into its unusual title. Photograph sheet music.
“It’s a phrase that emerged!” he laughed. “We’re always joking that people move the goalposts of the we’re aiming towards all the time, therefore it seemed apt because of this.”
Although he’s a musician above all, Ed continues to be dipping his toe into acting lately too. He made a guest appearance on Australian soap opera Home and Away this current year (15) and the man’s also rumoured to possess landed an important part in the eagerly-anticipated third Bridget Jones movie. Renée Zellweger, Patrick Dempsey and Colin Firth have already been shooting it within the UK, with Ed thought to get scored a cameo.
