Adele has confirmed her upcoming album is referred to as 25 and apologised to fans due to its delay.
The Someone Like You singer’s last record, 21, hit stores this year, after which it she took a long time off from making music together with her now three-year-old son Angelo. There has been intense speculation she is readying release a her eagerly-anticipated third record, using the star now using social networking accounts Twitter and Facebook to produce an official announcement.
“Turning 25 would be a turning point personally, slap bang during my twenties,” she wrote. “Teetering within the edge of just as one old adolescent and also a fully-fledged adult, I chose to go into becoming who I’m destined to be forever with no removal van brimming with my old junk. I miss everything about my past, the nice and the bad, but only since it won’t keep coming back. When I is at it I wanted out! So typical.
“25 is all about getting to know who I’ve become without realising. And I’m sorry it took way too long, however, you know, life happened… Love, Adele.”
The news employs a mysterious commercial was aired in the UK on Sunday (18Oct15) which gave the impression to allude towards the singer’s era. It featured no information in addition to a brief audio and several lyrics, which read: “Hello/ It’s me/ I was wondering if, in fact these years, you would like to meet to debate everything/ They say that time’s meant to heal you, but I ain’t done much healing.”
Adele is acknowledged for penning songs about heartbreak, but now things are gonna be a little different. While she classifies 21 being a “break-up record” her new offering is really a complete departure, which can be in keeping with her new mindset. In her lengthy missive the star speaks about spending a lot time wishing her life away – obsessing about things in the past and things she’d prefer to change. Now she actually is focused for the future and achieving the best life possible. Check sheet music.
“If I had to label that one I would refer to it as a make-up record,” she wrote. “I’m getting back together with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did rather than did. But I haven’t got time and energy to hold on on the crumbs of my past like I used to. What’s done is conducted.”
A release date for 25 will never be confirmed.
